This course provides opportunities for study leading towards a range of
certificates and diplomas as well as the full award of MA. It offers
professionals the opportunity to engage in systematic and analytical
enquiry and reflects on key and frequently contentious themes. The
course examines approaches used to meet a range of personalised needs
while reflecting on the influences and potential tensions between
practice and the wider socio-political and legislative inclusion agenda.
The MA course is offered part- or full-time and also provides
opportunities for students to pursue Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert)
specialisms, in for example, Autism/ Dyslexia and the current mandatory
SENCo Training Programme.
