Sacred Music. Liverpool Hope University

Hardly any other kind of music is as heavily dependent on the context within which it is created as sacred and, in particular, liturgical music.  As Europe's only ecumenical university, Liverpool Hope provides a unique environment for the study of sacred music.  In additional to the Music Department's excellent facilities, the University entertains strong links with the city's two cathedrals, each of which boasts a vibrant musical life of its own.
