Internet and Distributed Systems focuses on the development of applications and management of data in a distributed environment, especially on the design and build of scalable and secure internet applications, and re-usable software components. The course emphasises practical issues and current technologies for the development of internet and distributed systems, and also provides students with an opportunity to conduct in-depth research into a specific issue and/or problem in this area of computing.
