- If you want to become a mathematics teacher then
this course will prepare you to work in schools and challenge you to
deliver high quality lessons for all pupils.
- You will have to possess a passion for mathematics
and be able to work with all ranges of ability. The aim of the
mathematics course is to develop thoughtful teachers, who can respond
effectively to the learning needs of young people in school.
- You must have the background and ability to
contribute to the teaching of all mathematical topics at key stages 3
and 4 of the National Curriculum. We aim to provide the opportunity to
be involved in post-16 teaching.
