The programme will equip you to contribute to tourism development and
policy making within large tourism organisations as well as at the
national and local government level. The programme is specific to the
industry sector, has international links through the research interests
of the team, has close collaboration with the industry and offers
flexibility in module delivery. Your learning is supported in a number
of ways including a comprehensive induction process prior to the
commencement of the programme, having a personal studies advisor,
through Personal Development Planning (PDP) and with support as may be
required through Student Support. This programme is also shaped by the
research interests of the lecturing team that include Tourism and Public
Policy Making, Inter-Organisational Behaviour, Sports Tourism, Film
Tourism, Cultural Tourism, Strategic Marketing Management and Cultural
Diversity.
